Removal requires the comb level to be raised to its max setting, meaning loss of the initial desired setting. The lithium ion battery is rechargeable by using the included AC adapter. With nearly 100 years in the electric clipper business, Wahl’s experience usually produces high quality, top rated products. The Wahl Trimmer All-In-One is a bit disappointing as far as keeping with the standard goes. The addition of the lithium ion battery is extremely welcomed since it provides the unit with a full charge in only 1 hour, which is sufficient to make numerous trims. Even if the trimmer is flat drained, a minute charge is enough to complete a quick clean up.
The lithium ion battery provides juice for a powerful motor that tackles the coarsest beard hair and removes body hair without pulling or clogging. Although sufficient torque is produced and the All-In-One fits well in the hand, the unit produces elevated noise and vibration. The Wahl All-In-One comes with 4 blade attachments all designed to tackle a different task. The Clipper Blade is actually more useful as a trimmer.
The T-shaped design produces crisp lines and cuts fairly close which is good for touch ups around the ears and sideburns. The mini foil Dual Shaver Blade is a bit better, delivering acceptable closeness during cleanups which makes it handy for fast office or travel shaves. However, true haircutting and clean shaving should be left to a clipper and shaver designed for it. Somewhat narrower than the Clipper is the Trimmer Blade which is also great for edging, trimming and cleaning. The last blade attachment is the Precision Detailer which is narrow and designed for getting into tight places like detailed facial hair designs or the ears and nose.
However, it fails to deliver pleasing results. Switching from one blade to another can be annoying as the process is tedious and instructions are vague. The set comes with an abundance of attachments, most of which will not be used. Three trim guards fit the Clipper and Trimmer blades which are usable, but the six position guard for the Trimmer Blade is difficult to attach as well as adjust.
A tray is also included for organizing pieces, but it is small, looks cheap, does not hold pieces well and a bit of a disappointment. According to this review, the Wahl Trimmer All-In-One with Lithium Ion battery produces only a decent rating for its lithium battery and power and efficiency in trimming, but lacks in its ability to effortlessly change blades and low accessory quality.
